Join us for the 10th Annual Sweetest Little Thing on Valentine's Day, February 14th at 7:30pm. This annual fundraising event is co-hosted by the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre in Sackville, New Brunswick at the heart of the heart of the Maritimes!
It is an evening's affair with games, music, raffles, a Cake Walk jamboree, and dancing.
At the heart of the evening is an Art Auction. Our 200+ members and artists who have participated in exhibitions, residencies, festivals, and other events at the Owens or at Struts & Faucet are invited to contribute small scale works for the silent auction.
Artists from across Canada and beyond have responded with great generosity.
The Sweetest Little Thing will take place at the Owens Art Gallery. Mark your calendar, February 14th. It's the one Saturday evening in 2009 to be in Sackville.
We hope you can be here. If you cannot, you can bid on your favoured art works through our on-line bidding.

The Sweetest Little Wings: Putti Wing Making Workshop
This year Kaeli Cook is hosting a wing making workshop to create glorious wings not unlike those adorned by the nefarious putti, faeries, cupids, and other warriors of love. Make yourself a set of the Sweetest Little Wings that you can wear to the Sweetest Little Thing! If you need help, or just want some company and few snacks while you work, come down to Struts on Saturday, January 31, 1pm - 5pm. Instruction and supplies provided!
Deconstructing Hairy: Teddy Bear Altering Workshop
This year Amanda Fauteux is hosting another workshop for the coveted altered teddy bears that are won each year at The Sweetest Little Thing. If you need help, or just want some company and few snacks while you work, come down to Struts on Saturday, January 31, 1pm - 5pm. Bears and supplies provided!
Of course, you can deconstruct at home! Stuffed animals can be picked up anytime at the Owens Art Gallery during regular hours:
Monday to Friday: 10 am to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 1 to 5 pm
Tuesday Evening: 5 to 9 pm
