"Movement through landscape has been a main subject in my performative video work. Sculptural costumes are used to embody fantastical personas while propelling myself awkwardly through different environments".

During her time at Struts, Caitlin will be developing site-specific installations combining periscopes and video along the marsh boardwalks of Sackville. She would also like to extend an invitation to the community to participate in a photo-based component of the project. Please stop by the gallery Wednesday evening, July 7th, for my artist talk and project description. There will be a collaborative workshop the following week for those interested!
Caitlin will also be taking part in Ok.Quoi?!

This past week Caitlin took her recent creation, a mudpuppy to Silver Lake for an impromptu wrestling match, which our artist in residence thankfully won. Also recreating a previous performance with a sea-mask which was also handsewn, the local waterfowl found her to be a welcome edition to the area attractions.

Caitlin's Hard at work putting some colourful touches to her periscope project for Ok.Quoi?!. These periscopes will contain video and images of a recent walk the artist took with local individuals.
