Marshview Middle School Video Camp

During this March Break for the students a video camp was offered to children ranging from the age of 10 to 13. During the camp the children wrote their own scripts and storyboards, shot video, recorded and mixed their own sound.
A screening was held at the end of the week at which point the students were given a compilation DVD to take home including the entire groups work.

Thanks to Elli Hearte, a professional videographer and editor, who trained at the Columbia Academy Video and Film School for her patients and time with the students

Facilitated by Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre.

In many of these imgaes you can see the children having direct involvement. The ability to share this time and space has given these children a new persepctive on the world of television, movie making and the creative world that audio and visual arts truly is.
