16mm Reborn: The Sackville Film Initiative

Intro to Film
10am - 12pm
Learn to shoot 16mm film on a Bolex camera .

Hand processing
1pm - 4pm
Learn to hand process your own 16mm or Super8 film.

The workshop is $10 for Non-Members, $5 for Members
There is a $50 one-time cost for all the workshops, materials, and access to the equipment needed to make a silent 16mm film.

This workshop is part of 16mm Reborn: The Sackville Film Initiative, a series of screenings and workshops followed by access to the materials and equipment designed to empower artists to work with 16mm film. A second workshop (dates to be announced) will cover the basics of 16mm film editing.

16mm Reborn: The Sackville Film Initiative is in partnership with Vogue Cinema, Sackville Film Society and Mount Allison University. It is made possible through the support of a media arts development project grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.

$10 Non-Members, $5 Members. $150 one-time cost for all of the workshops, materials and equipment rentals to make your own 16mm film!!!

10am - 12pm and 1pm - 3pm

$10 for non-members, $5 for members

$150 one-time cost for all workshops, materials, and access to equipments needed to make a black and white 16mm film with sound.
