Originally from Newfoundland, Zeke Moores
has been living and working in Ontario for the
last five years. Heavily influenced by his extensive background in fabrication, blacksmithing and
foundry, Moores’ work is preoccupied by the
cultural significance and hierarchical systems
of value that exist within the objects that surround
us. To this end, Moores’ re-proposes and
re-fabricates everyday objects, exploring social
and cultural economies. |
