Archive Project Coordinator


Under general supervision the Archive Project Coordinator will:
– Conceive of and present a public project based on some aspect of the Struts & Faucet archives
– Update and maintain Struts & Faucet’s online and material archives
– Develop and manage databases for Struts & Faucet’s membership and professional contacts

In addition, the Archive Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Festival Associate on the following summer events:
– Weekly BBQ’s (Fridays at noon)
– Annual Fundraising Yard Sale

Qualifications:
– Completion of at least 2nd year of undergraduate visual art studies preferred
– Comfortable working in a Macintosh/Apple environment
– Skilled with basic computer applications eg. word processing, internet. Dreamweaver and Photoshop would be an asset
– Demonstrated interest in contemporary art forms

$10.50/hr, 35 hours per week.
June 1 – August 28, 2015

This position is pending funding through the S.E.E.D. program from the New Brunswick Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour. Applicants must register with S.E.E.D. to be eligible.


Festival Associate


The eleventh annual Ok.Quoi?! Contemporary Arts Festival will be held July 27 – August 2, 2015, at multiple venues in downtown Sackville, NB. OK.Quoi?! is an interdisciplinary festival of contemporary art, focused on presenting work outside of the gallery in publicy accessible locations. Works will be presented over 7 days in a variety of screenings, offsite installations, performances, and community-based projects.

Under general supervision the Festival Associate will:
– Identify, train, supervise, and monitor 20+ volunteers
– Write press releases and maintain regular contact with the media (newspapers, TV, radio, and internet)
– Coordinate the writing, layout, and printing of program publications and posters
– Coordinate and monitor workshop registration (3-4 workshop programs)
– Assist in the coordination of venues and other presentation facilities
– Assist in the interface between Struts & Faucet and participating artists

In addition, the Festival Associate will work collaboratively with the Archive Project Coordinator on the following summer events:
