Evan Furness is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in rural Prince Edward Island. His work is often site specific, using materials and settings sourced from his immediate vicinity to explore personal and historical narratives. During his residency he will be continuing work on a new video piece. This work examines ideas of reflection and repetition by manipulating two patterned bed sheets in performative, sculptural, and drawing based explorations. Evan completed his BFA at Mount Allison University in 2018. He currently works at this town is small as their Exhibition Coordinator.
