Call for Artists & Vendors: Art in the Park 

Brought to you by Struts Gallery and the Sackville Farmers' Market 


Struts and the Sackville Farmers Market are excited to invite artists, makers, and the Tantramar community to participate in a night of Art in the Park! Sackville Farmers Market and Struts Gallery share a commitment to building community spaces. We hope to make this a night of artistic connection and fun! 

 

Where and when: 

We are looking for Artists to participate on Saturday, July 18th from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Bill Johnston Memorial Park for a night of Art and Community.  

 

What we are looking for: 

We welcome applications from artists and makers working in all mediums. Participants may:  

  • Sell original artwork, prints, crafts, or handmade goods  

  • Offer interactive workshops or creative activities  

  • Present live demonstrations of their artistic practice  

  • Share information about their work and creative projects  

If you have other ways that you would like to contribute, please feel free to share! Artists from Sackville and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply.  

 

Vendor Information:  

  • Vendor fees range from $20–$35 per booth depending on location in the park and table size  

  • Vendor fees support administrative and operational costs shared between the Sackville Farmers' Market and Struts Gallery  

  • Approximately 35–40 vendor spaces are available  

  • Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis  

  • This is a strictly outdoors event so please be prepared accordingly  

  • This includes "rain or shine" so you will have to stay through the allotted time 

  • We will be monitoring the weather and if there are extreme conditions move the event to a better date keeping you informed as we go 

 

All participants are required to review the Sackville Farmers' Market Vendor Handbook prior to applying.

Performance-Based Opportunities  

We believe that all artists should be paid. If you have an idea of something you want to contribute that is performance based, we are willing to compensate you for your time and energy. There will be 1-2 positions that fall under this category and will be approved upon review; otherwise, things will move forward as vender-based requirements. 

 

If you are interested in participating in our Art in the Park night, please fill out this vender sheet attached, and we will email you back with confirmation once we have reviewed these forms. If you have a mixture of ways you would want to participate the market, please describe what you would want to contribute in your email to us.  

 

Applications should be submitted in one email to both Struts Gallery and Sackville Farmers Market (see emails bellow) with the headline Art in the Park 2026:
