-
$750 donation covers the travel expenses for a Canadian artist or the 5-week per diem for an Open Studio artist in residence.
-
$1,000 donation contributes to our Media Arts Production Fund, directly supporting the projects emerging artists in Atlantic Canada.
-
$2,500 donation covers the artist fees for a free public video screening and artist fees for a solo exhibition.
-
$5,000 donation covers the expenses of an Open Studio artist in Residence, or our heating costs for the year.

Monthly Giving is an easy way to provide ongoing support throughout the year and can be arranged in any amount through CanadaHelps. Your donation will be automatically processed through your credit card and you can change the details of your monthly gift at any time.

Struts Gallery provides tax receipts for donations made directly to the gallery in the amount of $50 and over. If you donate through our CanadaHelps page, you will automatically receive a tax receipt for any donation amount.

Leaving a planned gift, also known as a legacy gift, is an excellent way to ensure the future of Struts Gallery while thinking about yours. There are several categories of planned giving. Struts Gallery is able to receive planned gifts in the following ways:

Bequests:
A bequest in your Will allows you to plan ahead while benefiting from tax advantages and deepening your commitment to Struts Gallery.
All it takes is a simple clause in your Will to leave a gift to Struts Gallery. Please note that Wills can be complex documents and should be drafted with the assistance of legal counsel. The wording of a bequest, if not crafted properly, can become difficult to administer. Your legal advisor will be able to assist with the proper wording of your bequest wishes.

Securities:
Since the federal government eliminated the capital gains tax on gifts of publicly traded securities, giving a gift of stock is a convenient and tax effective way to support Struts Gallery. Securities donations can even be made directly through our Canada Helps page.
