Parallel is an exhibition of portraits made by second year photography students taught by Marc Losier (Memorial University, Grenfell Campus, NL) and Karen Stentaford (Pierre Lassonde School of Fine Arts, Mount Allison University, NB). The collaboration between the two classes was initiated in response to Photo E(a)st - building meaningful connections between photographic and lens-based artists in Atlantic Canada.
Losier and Stentaford, as well as artist Chris Donovan, supported students as they developed the title, Parallel, shared work with one another, and curated this collaborative exhibition.
