Feb 28 – March 11
Opening Reception: Friday, March 3, 5 – 7pm
This collaborative mail art project began as a semester-long project in which the artist printed two dozen stationary kits with letterpress and silkscreen, which were sent to twenty-four volunteers across the country and beyond. Each package contained vague and open instructions for the recipient to get creative with the contents and send their work back with the expectation that their response would be displayed in some way. This fall a second prompt was sent to another group of volunteers - a small envelope reading only “Make a letter for someone you love. Then accidentally send it to me.” Anything and everything contained in the returned envelopes is displayed.
