Dream of being lost on the way home, is part of a series of analog collages made during the first year of the pandemic. It explores the neighbourhood where shrinking landscapes and growing dreamscapes comingle.

Artist Bio


Andrea Mortson is a Canadian painter located in Sackville, New Brunswick. Her work was included in the Oh, Canada exhibition (Mass MoCA) and La Projet Peinture, a survey of contemporary Canadian painting (Galerie de l’UQAM), and is in the permanent collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, New Brunswick Art Bank, BMO Financial Group, Global Affairs Canada, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Confederation Centre Art Gallery (PEI), and Owen’s Art Gallery (Sackville, NB).


Mortson has recently, temporarily suspended her painting practice to focus on collage as a primary medium.
