Are you a Black musician, listener, storyteller, poet, DJ or sound enthusiast in the Maritimes? Open Studio Artist in Residence, Charlie Star, is looking for voices and sounds for an audio project exploring identity, memory, and belonging. Participate between July 23 - August 23.

Struts is seeking proposals from recent graduates between the ages of 15 and 30 for our 8-week residency from February 3rd to March 31st, 2026. This program is supported by the Government of Canada.

Exhibition | I love dogs

June 21 - August 26 | "I love dogs" by Korean-Canadian artist Sora Park explores diasporic experiences through the complex relationships between racialized people and animals.

Living is Easy Members Projects 2025

Over the next four months Struts members Kris Gunn, Saarah Ali, Dee Olinglass, Ranz Bontogon, Jess Paget and Susie Vokey will be using the gallery for various projects. From ceramics workshops to exhibitions, community inquiries about nature to animatronic revivals, our members' interests are varied and inviting! Learn more about each artist's project and how you can participate.
