‘It Takes a Long Time Because it Tastes So Good’ is a show of paintings, prints and more reflecting a season of art-making in tandem (and in conflict) with working a full-time, physical job on a farm. Paintings range from immediate, sloppy studies to over-worked ruminations on fatigue. All of them are wet, and were made from a place of distraction and longing!
Lucy Koshan’s exhibition ‘It Takes a Long Time Because it Tastes So Good’ will be on display at Struts & Faucet, 7 Lorne Street from September 23 – October 4, 2019.
A closing reception for the work will be held on Friday, October 4th from 7-9 PM and all are welcome.
Part of The Living is Easy: a series of projects by Struts & Faucet members.
